Trouble at Disney? 'Snow White’ Actress Apologizes for Saying Trump Supporters Should ‘Never Know Peace’

Rachel Zegler, the actress playing Snow White in Disney's upcoming live-action reboot, issued an apology for her comments on Instagram about Donald Trump and his supporters.

Zegler expressed disappointment over the election results, stating, “May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace.”

She mentioned concerns about raising a daughter in a world where she might be forced to have an unwanted baby, implying a future where abortion rights might be limited.

Zegler criticized the American public for supporting Trump, describing it as subscribing to "a false sense of security, of masculinity, of intelligence, of patriotism, and of humanity."

She encouraged her followers to stop using X (formerly Twitter), due to Elon Musk's involvement with Trump.

Zegler concluded her original post with a profane statement against Donald Trump.

Following her comments, there were calls for a boycott of the "Snow White" film from conservatives.

Disney's "Snow White" film faced a delay, moving its release from March 2024 to March 2025.

The film has been criticized for Zegler's comments about the original animated film and for casting choices that diVer from the traditional depiction of Snow White.

Disney's previous film, "The Little Mermaid," which also involved a race-swapped main character, did not perform well at the box oVice, hinting at potential risks for "Snow White."
