Mike Rogers Under Consideration For FBI Director

Mike Rogers is under consideration for FBI Director, as reported by Fox News. Rogers served as an FBI Special Agent and previously chaired the House Intelligence Committee.

A source familiar with the situation told Fox News that Rogers would make sense as FBI Director due to his experience with the FBI and as House Intelligence Chairman.

Rogers lost his 2024 Senate election in Michigan by a very close margin.

Rogers met with President-elect Trump's transition team regarding the FBI Director position at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

Rogers was interviewed in 2017 for the position of FBI Director after James Comey was dismissed. Kash Patel is also reportedly being considered for the role of FBI Director.
