Uniform Voting Laws Throughout The Nation

We need a fundamental change in how we conduct our elections in America. We need to adopt uniform election standards across all states and eliminate the practice of early voting. Let me explain why this is not just a preference but a necessity for our democratic process.

First, let's talk about uniformity. Our current system, where each state operates under its own set of rules, is a recipe for confusion and inconsistency. Imagine if every state had its own rules for basketball – the game would be chaos. Elections should be no different. We need a single set of standards for voter registration, identification, and ballot counting. This would ensure that every American vote is treated with the same integrity, no matter where it's cast. It would reduce the post-election legal battles that have become all too common, saving time, money, and most importantly, restoring faith in our electoral system.

Now, on the topic of early voting, let me be clear: extending the voting period does not enhance democracy; it introduces vulnerabilities. When we spread voting over weeks, we extend the time frame during which fraud can occur. With one Election Day, we can better secure our voting process, from the moment the polls open until the last ballot is counted. It's about control, oversight, and ensuring that every vote is accounted for under the watchful eyes of election officials and observers.

Moreover, there's something to be said about the communal spirit of voting. Election Day should be a national moment, a day when we come together as Americans to exercise our sacred right. Early voting dilutes this. It also means voters might cast their ballots without the benefit of late-breaking news or developments in a campaign, potentially casting their vote without all the facts.

By simplifying our election process, we're not just making it more secure; we're reaffirming the principles of fairness and equality in our democracy. We're telling every American that their vote, no matter where they live or when they decide to participate, is equally valued and protected.

I urge you to support these changes, to join me in advocating for an electoral system that is straightforward, secure, and above all, trusted by all Americans. Together, let's work towards an election process that reflects the best of our nation's values – simplicity, integrity, and unity.

Once again, the weak-minded are stirred up by the rhetoric of the media and it’s the fools who pay the price.  The question becomes, should the media be charged as accomplices when events like this unfold?
