FBI Reopens Investigation Into Cocaine Found at Biden White House

FBI Reopens Investigation Into Cocaine Found at Biden White House

The FBI announced on May 26, 2025, that it reopened the investigation into cocaine found at the White House.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino stated that the FBI decided to reopen or allocate additional resources to cases including the cocaine discovery at the White House, the DC pipe bombing investigation, and the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case.

Bongino said he receives weekly briefings on these cases and progress is being made.

A bag of cocaine was discovered in the West Wing of the White House in early July 2023.

The Secret Service closed its initial investigation into the cocaine discovery without conducting any interviews.

No suspect was identified in the initial Secret Service investigation.

The cocaine was found in a location described by CNN as a “blind spot for surveillance cameras.”

The White House initially stated there were no fingerprints, DNA samples, or leads in the cocaine investigation.

A partial DNA hit was later reported in connection to the cocaine evidence, according to sources cited by RealClearPolitics.

The partial DNA hit was run against national criminal databases, as per sources citing a special agent in the Secret Service’s Forensics Services Division.
