During this month, individuals who apprehend fugitives will receive additional incentives across all Bounty Hunter activities. Participants can earn triple RDO$ and XP on Standard Bounties, as well as double Gold, RDO$, and XP for Legendary and Infamous Bounty Missions. Completing all Bounty Hunter Daily Challenges for two consecutive days will award the gray and blue Morning Tail Coat. Announcing the New GTA Online Community Race Series and Combat Series, along with a Unique Reward for Creators, Professional Tips for Getting Featured, and Additional Updates
Whether navigating post-apocalyptic landscapes or competing on customized Hotring circuits, the inventive contributions to GTA Online’s Community Series continue to impress. In recognition of the dedication and creativity of our creator community, as well as valuable user feedback, we are pleased to announce an extension of the Community Series. This will include more targeted playlists and the introduction of a distinctive reward for Creators.
New Race and Combat Series
Beginning August 7th, GTA Online will introduce the Community Race Series, which will focus on community-created tracks and allow racing groups to move directly to subsequent races. In upcoming weeks, the Community Race Series will be replaced by the Community Combat Series, featuring Deathmatches, King of The Hill, Survivals, and other game modes developed by players. New user-generated content will be added regularly as the Series rotates, enabling participants to access recently created maps or revisit previous selections. The original mixed-genre Community Series will reappear during seasonal events, providing new and established modes from GTA Online community creators.
Community Series Varsity Jacket
Each Job highlighted in the Community Series demonstrates a high level of creativity, ingenuity, and technical proficiency. To acknowledge these contributions, all Creators featured in any Community Series, including those previously recognized, will receive the new and exceptionally rare R* Community Series Varsity Jacket. Effective immediately, featured Creators may access this jacket in their wardrobe by navigating to Tops > Bomber Jackets > R* Community Series Varsity.
Getting Featured
Below are several guidelines for creating and sharing jobs to enhance your chances of being featured in the Community Series: § Delivering a well-executed, straightforward concept can result in an engaging and fun experience. § While drawing inspiration from successful Jobs is acceptable, originality should be prioritized in selecting submissions for the Community Series. Direct imitation of another Creator’s work or references to copyrighted entertainment properties should be avoided. § To ensure fairness, consider restricting Races to a single vehicle type. § Use the Rockstar Creator strictly in accordance with its intended functionality. Any Job that seeks to exploit unintended mechanics will not be permitted. § Design your Job to maintain momentum and prevent excessively lengthy rounds. For instance, when developing Sumo-style Jobs, setting the Out of Area Timer to Instant can help accelerate gameplay.
Make sure to tag your Job with #communityseries to maximize visibility in the GTA Online Jobs showcase as well as on social media.
Retooling
Rockstar Games has recently updated the Rockstar Creator with several features: § Forced Aim Modes are now available in all Creators, including Partial Aim Assist and Free Aim. § Preparation time options have been added between waves in various modes. § Enemy squads can now be set as Zombies in the Survival Creator. § New ambient settings, including Snow and Halloween weather patterns, have been introduced.
Creator Chat and Feedback
Connect with experienced Job Creators by joining the official Rockstar Games Discord and participating in the #creator-tools channel, where you can exchange notes and share insights. Once you have developed a project you are proud of, you may present it to the community via the job-sharing board. Feedback on the Creator tools is welcome and can be submitted through the GTA Online Feedback Portal.
