Marvel's Wolverine and Intergalactic
By: Yefune Kenizi

During the recent Business Segment Presentation and Fireside Chat, Sony included both Marvel’s Wolverine and Intergalactic in the list of "upcoming" single-player games for its annual lineup. This indicates that these games will not be released this fiscal year, unlike Ghost of Yōtei and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which are set to be major releases before March 31, 2026. It should be noted that Marvel's Wolverine and Intergalactic may not launch in 2027 either.
In 2023, more than 1.3 million internal files from Insomniac Games were leaked on the internet following a hack by the ransomware group Rhysida. The documents, totaling 1.67 terabytes of data, were released after Insomniac Games declined to pay for their retrieval. These files contain confidential information regarding several of the studio's forthcoming projects, including images, alpha footage, concept art, financial details, projections, and release dates. A substantial portion of the leak pertains to the anticipated title Marvel’s Wolverine, which was revealed to be targeting a 2026 release window and is expected to be followed by multiple subsequent titles. However, this information may be outdated and has not been officially confirmed.
Silent Hill Remake
By: Yefune Kenizi

Bloober Team and Konami have announced the development of a remake of the original Silent Hill game during the recent Konami Press Start livestream. However, additional details were not disclosed at that time. A teaser trailer featuring the original game's theme song was also released. Silent Hill 2 was launched on October 8, 2024, and is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam. The Silent Hill 2 remake allows players to experience psychological survival horror with enhanced visuals and sounds on the latest hardware, acclaimed as the best in the series.
Silent Hill is the inaugural installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike previous survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the protagonist Harry Mason is an ordinary individual. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. Additionally, the controller vibration indicates Harry’s heartbeat and activates when his health is low. The player is required to frequently access the inventory screen to check Harry’s health, utilize items, and equip various weapons.
