Receive Double Rewards for Completing Smoke on the Water Money Laundering Missions

Increased Production Speeds for Weed and Organic Produce for Bikers and Nightclub Owners, alongside Double GTA$ and RP on Short Trips and Lamar Contact Missions, among additional incentives

In Smoke on the Water Money Laundering Missions, participants can engage in tasks such as disrupting rival dispensaries, intercepting NOOSE raids, framing competitors, and collecting cash canisters, which provide Double Rewards (quadrupled for GTA+ Members) until July 16th.

New players interested in Money Fronts may start by purchasing the Hands On Car Wash from Maze Bank Foreclosures. Additional businesses, including Smoke on the Water and Higgins Helitours, can be added via the office laptop or through Maze Bank Foreclosures upon acquiring the Hands On Car Wash.

Smoke on the Water increases earnings from Weed Farm Sell Missions, with a 30% discount on Weed Farms available this week. Passive income from existing operations, such as Arcades, Biker Businesses, and Bunkers, is added to the safe at the Hands On Car Wash. Bonus income corresponds to the number of enterprises owned.

Completing any three Smoke on the Water missions, including legal delivery work, qualifies participants for a GTA$100,000 bonus as part of the current Weekly Challenge.

Crop growth rates have increased in Los Santos, resulting in double Production Speeds for both Biker Weed Farm Stock and Organic Produce in Nightclubs.

Players can contact Lamar through iFruit to participate in Lamar Contact Missions, including Lowriders, for double GTA$ and RP rewards through July 16th.

LD Organics' latest strain is available for use inside Record A Studios, granting access to Short Trips — experiences featuring Lamar and Franklin that currently pay double GTA$ and RP until July 16th.

The current Featured Series includes Hunting Pack (Get Lamar), Hunting Pack, Hunting Pack (Remix), and Running Back, offering events such as helping Lamar escape or defending against BF Biftas, all with Double Rewards.

All Weed Farm Businesses are discounted by 30% this week. Those operating Smoke on the Water as a front can earn additional passive income through associated money laundering schemes. There is also a 35% boost to earnings from Weed Farm Sell Missions.

SAG-AFTRA

By: Yefune Kenizi

Members of the U.S. actors' union SAG-AFTRA have ratified the 2025 Video Game Agreement, officially ending the strike that commenced a year prior. The union reported that 95.04 percent of members voted in favor, though the overall voter turnout was not disclosed. The new contract establishes comprehensive AI-related safeguards, including mandatory consent and disclosure for the use of digital replicas, as well as provisions enabling performers to suspend their consent for the creation of new material during strikes. Concerns regarding "alarming loopholes" pertaining to potential AI misuse in previous proposals were instrumental in prolonging the industrial action.

The ratified agreement also provides for increased compensation and enhanced health and retirement contributions for performers. SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher praised the leadership of negotiating chair Sarah Elmaleh, stating: "This deal achieves important progress around AI protections, and progress is the name of the game." Drescher extended appreciation to the video game performer community and its allies for their solidarity, which contributed significantly to securing the contract’s gains.

Chief negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland echoed these sentiments, expressing gratitude to Elmaleh and acknowledging the sacrifices made by video game performers throughout the 11-month strike. He emphasized that the newly ratified agreement delivers substantial benefits and robust AI protections, which the union aims to further develop as technology continues to evolve.

On behalf of the video game producers party to the Interactive Media Agreement, spokesperson Audrey Cooling welcomed the ratification, highlighting the contract's historic wage increases, industry-leading AI safeguards, and improved health and safety provisions. Cooling affirmed the producers’ commitment to a continued partnership with the union and to delivering innovative entertainment experiences globally.

Voice actor Jennifer Hale, interviewed after the strike’s suspension, noted the voice acting community's relief at resuming work, while also highlighting opportunities for ongoing improvement in the industry. Hale acknowledged the challenges posed by project relocations during the strike and expressed hope that creators would feel welcome to return to the U.S. market.

Separately, UK actors' union Equity commended the determination of SAG-AFTRA members following the tentative agreement. Equity’s assistant general secretary for recorded media, John Barclay, urged global industry stakeholders to collaborate on an agreement that ensures fair pay and contractual terms covering AI for UK video game performers. Barclay emphasized the importance of elevating standards within the UK games industry, especially given its economic significance and government support.
